Ronell Kirkley

Brooklyn born – before his family moved to St. Augustine, Florida when he was a teenager – since 1997, Ronell has once again called NYC home.

What sets him apart as a clinician is not only his knowledge, experience, education, and training but his compassionate care.

He has been a registered nurse for 20 years and a Nurse Anesthetist and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (specializing in pain management) for the past 15 years. Ronell holds a Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia from Columbia University and earned his Doctorate in Nursing from Rutgers University in 2011. He has also been board certified in nurse anesthesia since 2003 and has been published in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. That said, he is most proud of his rapport with patients. His calm demeanor puts patients at ease, as does his high level of attentiveness and attention to demeanor.

His favorite quote in life and work is from Maya Angelou: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
